Shockey Realty/Berkeley Business Park Associates (a division of the Shockey Companies) needs a Property/Facilities Manager for their West Virginia properties. This person will also assist with managing property located in other areas, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate daily activities of maintenance crews
- Identify upcoming preventative maintenance activities
- Manage all projects at these properties
- Act as liaison between company and occupants (tenants)
- Schedule subcontractors
- Prepare reports
- Resolve tenant relation issues to ensure their satisfaction
- Perform regular property inspections with staff
- Other duties may be assigned.
The Property/Facilities Manager will manage all Berkeley Business hourly field employees and have responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The successful candidate will be an effective self-manager who takes the initiative of setting lofty goals and objectives and seeks out additional responsibility. This individual will not be afraid to take risks and will strive to find solutions and new ways of solving problems yet seek assistance when needed.
